Th end of 3rd semester...

To continue my blogging...

3rd semester is officially OVER! Hooray.  This was absolutely the toughest semester for me.  I was separated from my best friends & group.  At first this was extremely tough, but in the end it worked out great.  I made some fantastic friends!  This photo is from my Maternity clinical group.  Our instructor, Lynette was absolutely AMAZING!  She made us act completely independent. I have learned so much. 

Now, unto 4th semester..... I am doing my clinicals at Valley Pres. for Pediatrics and St. Joes for Med-Surg.  Since im on vacation right now (im in utah) I was unable to pick the clinicals that i wanted.. oh well. 

After the final our class had a fundraiser planned at Elephant Bar in Burbank.  My class took over the patio.  We laughed and celebrated the end of the semester. While we were there Fiona (the med-surg instuctor) sent out an email to our class president stating that NOBODY failed. Of course everyone at that moment started cheering. We were all excited for them. We celebrated the night away.....

I haven't been keeping up with this blog lately.  Lets just do a quick update...

Hermosa Beach..

Kwasi's friend owns condo out by the beach.  It was a FULL house!  We had a blast.. after wards we headed down to the pier and hit a couple of the local places.

I went to a LDS dance (out in Glendale) with Andalyn and a few of her friends... they had a bunch of fun activities.. like speed dating ;)  No, i didn't participate.. i was with Kwasi at the time.  It looked like fun.  The theme was "aqua" so everything was blue. In every room they had a projector that made it seem like there were fishes swimming along the walls.  It was really nice. The only thing i didn't like about it was that it reminded me TOO much of my jr. high dances. 
Now, your probably wondering why i said "this is when i WAS with Kwasi". Yes, we broke up on May 29th (the day before my birthday).  It sucked but we both knew it was for the best.  We always had a difficult time seeing each other and it always led us to arguing about it.   Were both really busy people, so for now i believe it is best if we just remain friends.

MY 23rd BIRTHDAY!

Since I was now a single gal, my best friend took it upon himself to plan me a fantastic birthday.  On Friday, the 29th Mondo and Josh took me to dinner and to a movie at Everjohns' house. I absolutely LOVED spending time with my boys.  At exactly midnight we were in the car heading home and the boys just start screaming "HAPPY BIRTHDAY, HONEY!!!" and my phone started to go off with text messages.  Vanessa was the 1st person to call me and wish me a happy birthday.  She was at "Aura" in studio city.  I ended up meeting her there and we began celebrating my birthday, as we danced the morning away.   Saturday night, May 30th (my actual birthday) My best friend had something planned.. but of course i didnt know what was going on.  They had a delish BBQ planned at Everjohns house.  All of my closest friends were there (well almost all of them).  We had such a great dinner!  After wards we headed to Pasadena to a couple of places and then to West Hollywood. OH, i LOVE west hollywood!!! I had SO SO much fun there!!!! Sorry i dont have any pics from that, Chantelle has them all.  Thank you to my best friends for putting everything together for me in such a short amount of time.. They are the BEST!!!!
